Collections & Deliveries

Lavender Rose Cake Studio – Stafford Heights, QLD

Below you’ll find everything you need to know about collecting your order, arranging delivery, and caring for your items once they leave my studio.

Collection

Orders are collected from my residence in Stafford Heights. To ensure a smooth experience, please note:

  • All collection times must be pre-arranged.

  • If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible.

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the agreed time without communication, I may not be available due to other commitments, and a later collection time may need to be arranged.

  • Once collected, the order is considered received in excellent condition and becomes your responsibility.

  • Products are fresh, delicate, and perishable — please handle with care during transport.

Transport Tips:

  • Place items on a flat, non-slip surface (the boot is best).

  • Use air-conditioning during transport, especially for buttercream cakes.

  • Keep products out of direct sunlight.

  • Drive gently and avoid sharp turns, sudden braking, bumps, and rough roads.

  • For cakes, non-slip matting is highly recommended.

Delivery

Delivery is available upon request for an additional fee.

  • Delivery outside the Stafford area is quoted based on distance and travel time.

  • While I always aim to be punctual, delays may occur due to traffic, accidents, congestion, road closures, or weather. I will communicate any delays where possible.

  • Please provide clear delivery instructions, including parking information, meeting points, access directions, and the name or role of the onsite contact (e.g., reception, manager, or event coordinator).

  • For venues where setup is required, a clean, level, cool surface must be prepared and ready upon arrival.

  • Once delivered and accepted by you or any authorised person, the order is considered received in excellent condition. Lavender Rose Cake Studio is not responsible for any damage that occurs after delivery.

Storage & Serving

To ensure the best quality, please follow these guidelines:

General Storage

  • Keep all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

Fondant Cakes

  • Do not refrigerate fondant cakes or decorations — moisture can cause damage.

Outdoor Events

  • Store items indoors or in a shaded, cool space until serving time.

  • While I take great care preparing your order, I cannot take responsibility for issues caused by weather, wildlife, or venue conditions.

Cookies & Macarons

  • Keep cookies and macarons sealed until serving to maintain freshness.

  • Macarons must be stored in the fridge and brought to room temperature 15–30 minutes before serving.

Freezing Products

  • All products can be frozen for later use.

  • Wrap securely in multiple layers and ensure they are airtight.

  • Keep fully wrapped while thawing to avoid condensation forming on the product.

Cookie Labelling

  • All cookies are heat-sealed and labelled with ingredients, allergen information, and a best-before date unless requested otherwise.

  • Heat-sealed cookies have an approximate best-before of 8 weeks.

Cutting & Serving (Cakes Only)

  • A cutting guide will be provided with your cake.

  • All non-edible elements — including dowels, supports, skewers, florals, ribbons, and decorative pieces — must be removed before serving.

  • Edible and non-edible structural supports may be inside tiered or tall cakes. You (and your authorised contact, if delivering to a venue) will be advised of their location.

Important Safety Note

Please do not push faces or body parts into the cake.
Hidden supports, decorations, or internal structure may cause injury. Lavender Rose Cake Studio accepts no liability for injuries or damage caused by improper handling or misuse of the cake after it leaves my care.
